Seafood Sauce (Japanese Style)

Updated: Jul 10, 2019

Instructions Mix until Homogeneous: 1 Tablespoon Sake 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce 2 Tablespoons Honey 1 Tablespoon Ginger @hybridrecipe

I created this Seafood Sauce (Japanese Style) with the purpose of enhancing the flavor of Tempura. As you already know, Japan is a small island, and their cuisine is mostly focused on seafood and tends to carry the flavor of the sea; in other words, their geographic location has allowed them to perfect their culinary techniques by making use of their local products. Furthermore, the ingredients in this sauce, are designed to create a beautiful contrast with the flavor of Salmon and Nori.

The good news is that this sauce is not limited to seafood, feel free to use it in your favorite dishes such as Cheeseburgers, Tacos, Pizza, Burritos, Sushi, Sandwiches, Wontons, Wings, Shrimp Tempura etc.

How to take this Seafood Sauce (Japanese Style) to the next level and use it in a way that is unique and trendy?

By baking it! Yes, but not by itself.

Prepare some shrimp (20 large shrimp) by cutting the legs, head, and thorns.

Cut them in half, and remove any guts and waste.

Mix 60% of the Seafood Sauce (Japanese Style) with 40% of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and place it on top of your Shrimp.

Bake at 350 degrees for 11 Minutes.
